If you’ve been thinking about returning to school, but haven’t applied for admission, Easy Access registration is available by calling 816-235-2736.  Easy Access registration is available for all Arts and Sciences courses.  The College of Arts and Sciences offers numerous courses in a wide variety of areas.

You can enroll through Continuing Education if:

• You haven’t applied for a degree or been fully admitted;

• You’re not planning to work on a degree program;

• You already have a degree and just want to take a course;

• You only need a course to meet certification or licensure requirements; or,

• For personal or professional development

Students who are not admitted to the University as degree-seekers can enroll in these courses through Continuing Education beginning Monday, November 26, 2007.  The Spring Semester begins on Monday, January 14, 2008.  The educational fee is $235.90 per hour (unit) for undergraduate credit and $286.90 for graduate credit, plus an additional on-campus fee assessment that varies depending on the number of credit hours (units) you enroll in.  Enrollment and fee payment for regular semester courses are due no later than Friday, January 11, 2008 to avoid a late fee, but for weekend and some other non-regular courses, enrollment and fee payment will be accepted until the day the course starts and no late fee will be assessed.  If you are not admitted to a degree program, call Continuing Education to register at 816-235-2736.  Please refer to the UMKC Registration and Enrollment Guide for policies on add/drop, refunds and other College of Arts and Sciences information.
