Call 816-235-2736, ext. 22, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.  People with speech or hearing impairments may call Relay Missouri, 1-800-735-2966 (TT) or 1-800-735-2466 (voice).

 

In Person

Stop by the Volker campus office 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We are located at 5300 Rockhill Road, on the first floor.

 

By Fax

Fax class request and credit card information to 816-235-5279.  We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.  Our fax line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Payment

Course fees may be paid by check, VISA, MasterCard or Discover.  Please make checks payable to University of Missouri—Kansas City.

CEUs

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded for full participation in certain designated non-credit programs.  The CEU is defined as “10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction.”  CEU records are nationally recognized, permanent proof of your continuing education efforts.

Tax Deductions

Please contact your tax consultant for information on how educational tax deductions may apply to your situation.  In addition, if you are a nonresident student in credit courses, income taxes paid to the state of Missouri may offset your nonresident fee assessment.

Confirmation

A receipt will be sent to you by mail.  If you do not receive the receipt before the first class, please call our office at 816-235-2736 to confirm your enrollment and class location.

Disabled?

If you are disabled and need assistance, call us at 816-235-2736 before your first class

meeting.  We will give you information about classroom accessibility.  People with

speech or hearing impairments may call Relay Missouri, 1-800-735-2966 (TT) or

Refund Policy

If we cancel a course, you will be notified and will receive a full refund.  If you wish to cancel an enrollment, please notify our office at 816-235-2736 at least five working days prior to the beginning of the course.  No refunds will be made after a class begins.

Please Note

It is extremely important that you include your complete address, daytime telephone number, fax number and/or e-mail address on the registration form so that we may reach you in the event of a class change or cancellation.  If you do not have a phone, please call our office to confirm your class just prior to the first session.

Gift Certificates

Give the gift of knowledge.  Non-credit continuing education courses make the perfect holiday or birthday gift.  Certificates are available in any amount with a minimum of $10. You may choose a particular course or let the recipient of your gift take the course or courses of his or her choice.  Gift certificates are great as stocking stuffers or as unique surprise gifts.  Give us a call at 816-235-2736 for more information.
