6-Week Program: June 18th - July 27th 2012
An undergraduate Spanish immersion program at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Housing in Buenos Aires
Participants will be housed with host families who are specifically chosen for their interest in sharing Argentinean life and culture with foreign students. Students generally eat breakfast and dinner with their host families. By living with families, students not only communicate in Spanish with native speakers, but also eat Argentinean food, live in a Argentinean home, etc. The home stay is an invaluable aspect of the UMKC program in Buenos Aires and sets it apart from other summer study abroad programs.
Course Credits: 9 Credit Hours
3 credit hour UMKC
6 credit hours University of Belgrano (UMKC transfer hours)
Note: Students of all levels take grammar and conversation courses. In addition, students may choose from a variety of culture, writing or literature course offerings.
