The UMKC Gallery of Art is pleased to present an exhibition of photographs by Masters of Art candidate Stephanie Coulter. This installation of 12 photographs and accompanying text illustrates her recent battle with a life-threatening disease. The photographs, some self-portraits and some of symbolic household objects, were created digitally using dramatic lighting to highlight the contrasting emotional states she experienced during her health crisis.
