The UMKC Department of Art and Art History student printmaking group known as the Studio Rojo has been accepted into the Guinness Book of World Records for creating and printing the world's longest linoleum block print.
UMKC Studio Art major Brendan O'Shaughnessy won two golds for graphic design at the Kansas City Student Addy Awards. He will automatically be forwarded to the national competition. UMKC Studio Art majors Jonathan Sullivan and Rocky Varello each won a silver award.
