Creative knowledges, cultural
productions employs an interdisciplinary perspective
to explore “culture” by encouraging students to
create key linkages between cultural analysis and
expression.
Race/ Collage / Two Worlds
Using 'found'
materials students draw upon creative insight and critical
thinking to construct a collage that presents two
perspectives on "race." Through this project students
explore their own "raceness" and their perceptions of "race"
in others, as they re-present - and destabilize - race-based
assumptions.
