Bio: Dr. Unger is a former prize winning national correspondent for the Kansas City Star and investigative reporter and columnist for the Chicago Tribune. He has filed stories from 47 states and 14 foreign countries and won a staff-shared Pulitzer Prize and the National Press Club's Award for
Diplomatic Correspondence. His first book-length nonfiction work, The Union Station Massacre was published in 1997. Currently, he heads the Urban Journalism program and writes non-fiction books. |
