INCS will be held Thursday April 19-Saturday April 21 2007 at the Marriott Country Club Plaza. The easiest way to get from the airport to the conference hotel is by taking the KCI Airport Shuttle. More information is available at http://www.kctg.com/kcishuttle/hotels.html. Note that reservations are required for the return trip. Be sure to tell them you are going to the "Marriott Country Club Plaza" (not just the "Marriott," which is somewhere else).
A conference reception will be held at the Linda Hall Library on Thursday evening with an accompanying exhibit on Napoleon and the Scientific Expedition to Egypt. A special poetry event featuring B.H. Fairchild, Mark Jarman, and Michelle Boisseau will take place on Friday evening at the Marriott. There will also be a banquet and tour at the Arabia Steamboat Museum on Saturday evening.

- The Steamboat Arabia Museum enables visitors to step back in time to 1856 and see what frontier life was like. The Arabia sunk in September of 1856 and was only rediscovered over 100 years later. The Arabia was found with most of its cargo intact, and once the excavation was completes, in 1980, the preservation and exhibition of the Arabia began.
