Professor Stroik has published five books and over forty articles and book chapters. His most recent book, Locality in Minimalist Syntax (MIT Press, 2009), advances a theory of generative syntax in which all grammatical structures are built through local computational processes. Although most of his publications investigate the syntax of human language, Professor Stroik has also published work in pragmatics and poetics.
