6-Week Program: 6/18 - 7/31/2013

An immersion program at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas at the University of Granada in Spain.

Housing in Granada

Participants will be housed with host families who are specifically chosen for their interest in sharing Spanish life and culture with foreign students. Students generally eat meals with their host families. By living with families, students not only communicate in Spanish with native speakers, but also eat Spanish food, live in a Spanish home, etc. The home stay is an invaluable aspect of the UMKC program in Granada and sets it apart from other summer study abroad programs.

Course Credits: 9 Credit Hours

3 credit hours UMKC
6 credit hours University of Granada (UMKC transfer hours)

Note: Students of all levels take grammar and conversation courses. In addition, students may choose from a variety of culture, writing or literature course offerings.
