Get working on the past in the present.
The UMKC HistoryMakers Internship Program grants graduate students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills at one of the many historical and cultural institutions in the Kansas City region. HistoryMakers offers paid and unpaid internship opportunities on a year or semester basis.
In addition, it is often possible to intern with members of our faculty and work with them on one of their current projects.
Interns must be enrolled in the Public History emphasis of our Masters program and have completed certain prerequisite courses. For more information about interning through HistoryMakers, contact Dr. Sandra Enríquez, Director of the Public History emphasis in our Masters program.
