  • Operators in Hilbert spaces, harmonic analysis, moment and interpolation problems, mathematical system theory
Teaching -- List of recent UMKC courses:

Dr. Bekker has visited our department since Fall 2008. He comes to us from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly UM-Rolla) where has been an Assistant Professor since 2001 teaching a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses. He previously also taught at Idaho State University and Northwestern University, and was a member of the Research Faculty in the Department of Chemical Thermodynamics at the Physics and Chemistry Institute of the National Academy of Sciences, Odessa, Ukraine. Dr. Bekker was a student of the famous Soviet mathematician Mark G. Krein (1907-1989).
