Teaching -- List of UMKC courses:
Shawn comes to us from Portland, Oregon. He taught mathematics as an assistant professor at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, and the Art Institute of Portland, as well as at Mt. Hood Academy, Riverdale High School, and Lake Oswego High School in Oregon. Shawn has also been the president of his own mathematics tutoring company since 1999. In 2006, he won the Sara Roby Award for Outstanding Achievement in Furthering Higher Education. Shawn is also an active musician.

Shawn will be teaching his UMKC classes Fall 2009 - Spring 2010 at Southwest Early College Campus as part of UMKC's partnership with the school.
