Yuelei is enrolled as a Master's student in Statistics. He has published a paper "A Measuring Approach to Option Path Dependence Intensity and Its Applications" in the Journal of Management Science & Statistical Decision-Special Issue for 2006. He has also previously used his statistical knowledge by working for Greatwall Enterprise Institute as an Analyst, and for the Shanghai Jinpeng Futures Company as a Futures Investment Advisor.
Yuelei's father is a mathematics professor and his mother is an industrial engineer.
