SWECC is an open enrollment, mathematics and science focused school for students in grades 6-12 in the Kansas City Missouri School District, begun in Fall 2008.

SWECC was formed as a partnership between the District (KCMSD) and UMKC, Kansas City's Partnership for Regional Educational Preparation (PREP-KC), the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute (KCALSI), and the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation (WWF).

The goal of SWECC is to give Kansas City students an early immersion college experience in order to prepare them to successfully complete a four-year college degree and pursue careers in mathematics, engineering, technology, and science (METS).
