Tasks: Graduate Student Representative to the Faculty
NOTE: The Graduate students (both GTAs and non-GTAs) elect the Graduate Student Representative.
- Attend all Faculty meetings (usually every other week) to represent Graduate Student concerns.
- Regularly gather (by email, etc.) Graduate Student concerns, complaints, requests, etc. to present at Faculty meetings.
- Report Graduate Student opinions on Department policies as needed.
- Update Graduate Students on any new changes in the department, and report relevant information from Faculty meetings.
- Remind Graduate Students of deadlines for graduation submissions, about graduate seminar requirements, etc.
