Below are images of the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR). It is a Nicolet Nexus 670 that we bought in December of 1999. It has a liquid nitrogen cooled merucry cadmium telluride (MCT) detector and the spectrometer is capable of detecting electromagnetic radiation from ~ 600 cm-1 - 7000 cm-1. Back home.
