Research Activities & Interests

My latest work uses world-class ground and space-based observatories to understand the assembly and growth of galaxies over cosmic time.
The evolution of the galaxy population reveals important aspects of the history of the universe. I am leading a new team that is undertaking
a comprehensive study of the observed properties of gravitational encounters between galaxies and their subsequent merging and byproducts.
