SIX-YEAR LAW SCHOLARS PROGRAM
As mandated by the American Bar Association, we will be discontinuing the Six-Year Law Scholars program at UMKC Law as of August 2015. Applicants from the 2014-2015 admissions cycle will be the last cohort for this program, and we have been assured that any students admitted to the program who began their undergraduate careers as of Fall 2015 will be able to maintain their place in the program and the benefits associated with the program (namely admission to UMKC Law without needing to take the LSAT).
Although the ABA has ended the practice of admission without the LSAT, we will explore the possibility of an alternate early admission program to UMKC Law that may operate similarly to our Six-Year Law Scholars program. Until then, students may still gain early entry via the 90+ program.
