Truman Prize Award Amount: $500 Qualifications: A prize given annually for the best research paper, to be written and submitted by an undergraduate or graduate student to the Department of History at UMKC. The research paper should focus on any aspect of World War I. Also, include research when all possible that ties to materials housed at the National World War I Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri, is preferred.
