Department of Theatre scholarships are available to full-time students. The Department of Theatre has over 20 scholarships providing financial assistance to their students. The Department of Theatre scholarships do not require a separate application. All prospective UMKC students are automatically considered for all scholarships, awards, and fellowships, during their MFA audition. All graduate & undergraduate level scholarships are chosen by the Theatre Department's Scholarship Committee at UMKC.

There is one scholarship available to both undergraduate and graduate students—The Lee & Nadine Marts Scholarship. A student can apply for the Marts Scholarship through the College Arts & Sciences general Scholarship Application .
