Re-entry Scholarship Programs

Re-entry scholarships are designed to help students who have experienced an interruption in their education of five years or more, resume their undergraduate baccalaureate degree. This re-entry program is intended to support students – ideally aged 25 to 50 – designed to help students with financial need, socio-economic–status, challenges and/or hardships, for Scholars and are not intended for transfer students or those seeking an additional degree.

Crankstart Re-entry Scholarship

This re-entry program is intended for people with great financial needs whose education has been interrupted for five or more years and who want to resume their undergraduate education to pursue a baccalaureate degree.

Osher Re-entry Scholarship

The Osher Reentry Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to a limited number of undergraduate students who demonstrate the potential for academic success and targets students who did not have the opportunity to complete their higher education at earlier stages in their lives.

The Bernard Osher Foundation established in 2010 the Osher Reentry Scholarship. The Scholarship is available to eligible adult students continuing the pursuit of their first bachelor’s degree after a significant hiatus. The Osher Reentry Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to a limited number of undergraduate students who demonstrate the potential for academic success and targets students who did not have the opportunity to complete their higher education at earlier stages in their lives.
