Graduate Certificate in Gerontology

The Consortium for Aging in Community sponsors a graduate certificate in gerontology, which can be integrated into the M.A. degree in Social Work or a variety of other graduate degree programs.

UMKC’s Consortium for Aging in Community is organized around the goal of devising responses and approaches for an aging world.  Its membership cuts across schools and departments, allowing clinical, professional, academic, and fine-art scholars and researchers to communicate and innovate together. In addition, the Consortium actively engages a wide variety of community partners, working together to respond to the needs of our aging communities, nation, and world.
