J-NDesign > Ulisse reveals himself to the suitors.

Jonathan Kilgore

Lighting designer, photographer, technical director

Third year credits include lighting designer for Chekhov's Three Sisters and Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance; assistant lighting designer at the Kansas City Repertory theater and at the Lyric Opera. Mr. Kilgore is also the master electrician/assistant designer for CenterSeason at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City.

 

In his second year he designed  Monteverdi's opera, Il Ritorno di Ulisse in Patria,  and several dance pieces for The Conservatory of Music. For the theater department he designed Beaumont and Fletcher's The Maids’ Tragedy.  Outside of school he has assisted at the K. C. Rep, Cleveland Playhouse, CenterSeason, and Donna Miceli Dance Company.

 J-NDesign > Minerva is transformed from shepard boy to godess.

During his first year Mr. Kilgore was lead designer on the fall and spring dance shows, assisted at the K. C. Rep, Donna Miceli Dance Company, worked as a carpenter for the theater department, and was a technical director for the Kansas City Fringe Festival.

 

Originally from western New York Mr. Kilgore attended the University at Buffalo where he earned a B.A. in theater.
