STUDENTS - Lighting Design

Alex Perry is a 3rd-year graduate student in the Lighting Design program at the UMKC. He is the resident light designer for Eubank Productions, housed in the Off Center Theatre, and finishing their season with The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Alex is also the resident light designer with the Jewish Community Center, and began his second season with Crazy 4 You. Before that, Alex designed lighting and scenery for The Most Happy Fella with the UMKC Conservatory, A Separate Peace at The Coterie, and The Cure at Troy on the Spencer Stage. This season, for UMKC Theatre, he has designed lighting for The Heidi Chronicles

                                                                                                                                     

Jeff Roudabush is a 3rd-year M.F.A. Scenic Design, Lighting Design and Technical Direction candidate at UMKC’s Department of Theatre. At UMKC, Jeff designed scenery for the world premiere of Megan Mostyn-Brown’s The Secret Lives of Losers and Seamus Heaney’s The Cure at Troy. He has also designed lights for theatre (Tartuffe), opera and dance. In addition to designing, Jeff technical directed Cloud 9, Tape, and assisted on Noises Off. This summer, Jeff was the Ted Shawn Theatre Production Coordinator at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Massachusetts. Jeff currently resides in Pittsburgh with his wife Laura.
