The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told by Paul Rudnick directed by Tony Bernal Grant Hall Theatre, UMKC Campus (Season and single ticket prices apply.)
Uproarious, and touching
In the beginning, God created Adam and Steve… WHAT?! Well, why not? From acclaimed playwright, Paul Rudnick, I Hate Hamlet (1991) and Jeffrey (1993), comes a story of creation and discovery. The first act is the Old Testament retold with a gay couple and a lesbian couple as principal characters. The second act takes us to pre-millennium Manhattan for the most fabulous Christmas party ever, complete with a paraplegic lesbian cable-evangelist rabbi! The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told is an uproarious romp through the joys and heartbreaks of seeking out life’s questions.
