Each student in the MFA Professional Sound Design Program creates a Sound Focus every year. These are originally produced sound effect discs that focus on a particular activity, space, keynote sound, ambiance, etc. Comprehensive log sheets and recording info accompany each set, and appropriate mic choice and placement is discussed in class. 

The recordings are made in stereo, mono, or M/S (for info see ../msrec/msrecording.htm). The edited tracks remain in our Sound Library Archive. Selections from this growing archive are available below.
