UMKC Art Professor’s Videos at KC Streetcar Metro Center

Totemic Persona is a set of hyperkinetic videos created to show a unified, multi-ethnic, multi-generational “portrait” of the community. The project first began as a public video in Los Angeles but is now being adapted to Kansas City.

Anderson is a Kansas City-based artist working in video, photography and installation. His work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions including recent solo exhibitions in Seoul and Los Angeles. His work is in the permanent collections of the Everson Museum of Art, the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.
