Toya Z. Like, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Criminology (B.S., University of MO – St. Louis, 1999; M.A., University of MO – St. Louis, 2001; Ph.D., University of MO – St. Louis, 2006).

Dr. Like's research interests include multi-level assessments of risks for violent victimization, racial and ethnic variations in victimization, and the intersection between gender, race and class as it relates to victimization risks.  Her work is featured in peer-reviewed journals such as Crime & Delinquency and Deviant Behavior and also in books such as The Many Colors of Crime and Images of Color, Images of Crime.
