Request a
Workshop
The
Writing Center has developed a number of workshops that provide targeted
instruction on different aspects of academic writing. All workshops are
led by Writing Center staff members who will visit the classroom to
perform the workshop. Please feel free to contact the Writing Center
with any questions or comments.
Faculty members interested
in requesting a workshop just need to follow a few easy steps:
1. Select a workshop from
the list below
2. Fill out a
Workshop Request Form
3. Email the completed
Workshop Request form to
umkcwritingcenter@umkc.edu
Below is
a list of workshops we have already prepared, but members of the WC
staff are also happy to create workshops addressing other topics—just
give us plenty of time to prepare beforehand. If you would like to
request a new workshop, please call the Writing Center at (816)
235-6411.
