The Continuing Education Division offers both credit and noncredit courses taught by University faculty or adjunct faculty members who are recognized experts in their fields. Our courses, both for credit and noncredit, are typically taught on weekends and evening.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded for full participation in certain designated non-credit programs. The CEU is defined as “10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction.” CEU records are nationally recognized, permanent proof of your continuing education efforts.
Students who are not admitted to the University as degree-seekers can enroll in these courses through Continuing Education beginning Monday, November 28, 2016. The Spring Semester begins on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. The educational fee is $272.30 per hour (unit) for undergraduate credit and $359.01 for graduate credit, plus an additional on-campus fee assessment that varies depending on the number of credit hours (units) you enroll in.
Note: Summer and Fall 2017 fees are subject to change. Enrollment and fee payment for regular semester courses are due no later than Friday, June 2, 2017 for Summer Semester and Friday, August 18 for Fall Semester to avoid a late fee. Weekend and some other non-regular courses, enrollment and fee payment will be accepted until the day the course starts and no late fee will be assessed.
