Internships

We're committed to offering students learning experiences beyond the classroom — and in the community.

Internship Opportunities

If you have achieved at least 18 hours toward your sociology major, you should consider a community internship in a nonprofit agency. Internships are a great way to test out classroom learning and gain new skills beyond the classroom. They can also help you decide on a career path.

Each semester there are opportunities for students to work with community agencies and organizations under the supervision of agency professionals and department faculty.
