Biography

Dr. Edwards has taught at UMKC since 2011, specializing inĀ  literary representations of hyper-masculinity in the context of Cuba’s Special Period and the implications of writing and reading marginal historiography in 20th and 21st century Argentina.

Ph.D. in Contemporary Latin American Literature from Emory University in Atlanta, GA

M.A. in Spanish Literature, McGill University and the University of Ottawa
