Education: Dr. Nilsson received her PhD. in Ph.D. Counseling Psychology, Western Michigan University (1999).
Teaching: Dr. Nilsson teaches undergraduate Abnormal Psychology and graduate courses in Professional Counseling, Counseling Practicum, Supervision and Methods, Psychopathology, Diagnosing and Classification; Supervision Practicum and Self in a Multicultural Society.
Research: Dr. Nilsson’s research interests focus on International issues and populations (e.g., international students, refugees, and immigrants), supervision, and social justice advocacy.
