Professor Round joined UMKC in 2016. He continues as President of Rational Systems, Inc., an actuarial and statistical consulting firm providing services in the insurance and manufacturing industries. He also runs a successful ACT/SAT test-preparation company based on the principle of maximum gain from small changes. He is the former USA Director of Theory of Constraints for Education, and has served on the Kansas City Area Teacher’s of Math (KCATM) board since 2003. Since 2016, he has served as Math Coordinator of UMKC’s Dual-Credit Digital Programming program.
Professor Round has previously taught Statistics and Calculus courses at UMKC, and is scheduled to teach courses included in the university’s actuarial-minor program in the future.
