As an Administrative Assistant, Tammy Shelton supports the financial and human resources operations of the Foreign Languages and Literatures Department. She also assists students and faculty with academic needs, study abroad programs and classroom/facility scheduling. Tammy serves as the staff liaison for the Foreign Language Advisory Board.
M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University
B.S. also in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas-Austin
Certification in Youth Ministries from Perkins School of Theology/Southern Methodist University
For over 20 years, Tammy has worked with non-profit organizations who engage and train student leaders (ages middle school thru college level) for community service. She has helped organize and lead over 50 mission trips across the U.S. and abroad, including Nicaragua and Mozambique. Her passion is helping young adults find their strengths and learn how to work together in a community to make a difference.
