The Economics Department faculty supports the research efforts of undergraduate students both directly and through support of the following programs:
Oeconomicus is an annually published interdisciplinary journal of economic issues written, refereed, edited and published by undergraduate, MA, and PhD students in the social sciences. The focus of the journal is on critical or heterodox approaches to issues of economic methodology and theory, history of economic thought, economic history, political economy, and economic policy.
All editorial inquiries and submissions should be sent to the editor, Richard Twumasi, at email@example.com. The deadline for abstracts is March 15, 2018. The deadline for final papers is April 1, 2018.

SEARCH – Students Engaged in Artistic and Academic Research
The benefits of undergraduate research are innumerable and far reaching. Not only will SEARCH help you develop critical-thinking, artistic, experimental design and presentation skills, it will open a world of possibilities. SEARCH participants can do research in a foreign country, apply for SEARCH and national fellowships, and earn academic credit for individual research and creative projects.
Getting Started is easy! Select an area of research interest. Find a faculty mentor (SEARCH can help with this). Complete and submit a SEARCH application.
