New York Times national correspondent covering race, John Eligon, and National Book Award finalist Sarah Smarsh join Kansas City novelist Whitney Terrell for an exclusive–and Kansas City flavored–look at the state of the 2020 Presidential and Congressional races just five days before election day.
Tickets include access to the exclusive stream of their discussion; sponsors will be acknowledged during the event and on all event literature.
Proceeds from this event benefit a collaborative partnership between the Kansas City Public Library and the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s MFA Program in Creative Writing, enabling a graduate student to teach writing classes at the Library and assist in planning for a new literary award and city-wide book festival.
Purchase tickets in advance.
