As a dual credit student, you can simultaneously earn high school and college credit for completing the same course. You will be considered a UMKC student and have the same benefits as on-campus students. Students completing a UMKC HSCP course are awarded an official UMKC transcript.
Students must meet certain grade point average requirements for dual credit course eligibility.
“The most important benefit for my students is the chance to experience college-level work while still in high school at one-third the on-campus tuition, earning up to 6 hours college history credit which transfers easily to nearly every American university. Many of our students from 101/102 choose to continue their university studies on campus at UMKC after graduating from high school and say they feel very prepared for the on-campus experience.”
