The Mathematics and Statistics Research Day is an annual event celebrating student and faculty research, creative, and scholarly activities. This event is open to public and it promotes research in mathematics, statistics, and the applications in various fields.
For this year, the Math and Stat Research Day will be virtual (https://umsystem.zoom.us/j/97200909775). The theme of the research day is “Mathematical & Statistical Models of COVID-19 Pandemic”. Special attention will be given to magnitude, demographics and dynamics of COVID-19 in Kansas City. Any other research related to Mathematics or Statistics is also considered. In a broad context, we are interested in research projects that employ mathematical or statistical methods.
