Dr. Bar-Nadav, who came to UMKC in 2007, is an award-winning poet who focuses her research on creative writing practice, craft, and pedagogy. Other interests include inter-genre writing, the intersection of “research” and creative productivity, and interdisciplinarity, as well as modern and contemporary poetry, the Harlem Renaissance, and Black women writers.
