Successful candidates for the UMKC MSW program must hold a baccalaureate degree that reflects a broad liberal arts base in social, behavior or psychological sciences, human biology, the humanities or statistics and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Note: In order to apply for advanced standing, successful candidates must hold a baccalaureate degree in Social Work. They must also have earned that degree within the past 5 years.
